Monday Night Blogness

what up what up people? (walt, walt's dad, anyone else out there) tonite is monday nite... so that means MNF: indy continues to fall apart as they lost another game to the titans. i hate the colts and its been a long time coming. anyways... in other news, i watched one of the most entertaining baseball games in history tonite. first suspended game in world series history... pretty neat. i could only imagine how cool it would of been to be a phillies fan at that game. PORING rain... in the world series, you'd never forget something like that for the rest of your life.

time to lace up my bowling shoes (if i had some).

my friend over at big brothers big sisters asked me to get my buddies together for a 5-man bowling challenge/fundraisor/pledge-a-thon. and now i feel like a kid in elementary school asking for pledges for my walk-a-thon! haha i loved that shit.

[* WALT- if you know any person/company that would like to make a per-pin pledge for the team and a good cause let me know. does that great pie factory you work for in missoula support local causes?!?]
...anyways, our team needs to raise at least $600 to be eligible for team prizes at the end of the event, which im confident we could clean up, its quite the all-star lineup of bowling. im hoping to match my career high of a 268--which was then immediately followed by a 92--when i was in middle school. anywho, it should be a good time with free beer and food...

[Halloween] decisions decisions... its been a hard year for me to figure out what to do.. so far i have two ideas... either an asian tourist
or a Mormon missionary both very funny to me, but not sure if the 'mormon on a bike' would fly with everyone... id hate to offend any mormons at a party or anything.

bon voyage tyrone willingham!
huskies fire head coach (kind of), he will finish out the season and then see ya later alligator. so another seattle sports team begins to rebuild! AWESOME! i guess ill always have my storm.

Quiz Endorsement of the Day:
Manna Teriyaki in Edmonds, WA. probably one of the best, if not THE best teriyaki chicken in the world... in my opinion. since there is nothing like it within 500 miles of missoula, i think about it at least once a day. and when im back home in seattle no more then two days can pass at a time without me having my fix. if your ever in the area, check it out. order the basic #1 chicken teriyaki, large sized, with no veggies (then you get more rice and meat). so good.

just call me Mr. Blogtober

i know what all of you are saying (and by all of you i mean all two of my known readers)... "the quiz's third post in the same month?" its ludacris, i know. but a man can only sit on his computer with nothing to do for so long. so this post will be more of a newsworthry entry with random tidbits i find important (looking back im not a big supporter of the live update style that took place in my previous adventure). so, lets see what there is to talk about...

1-mariners hire new GM:
well, cant really get any worse then it has been. hopefully this will be the first step in the right direction. i just hope we dont totally dismantle the team or get carried away with horrible 'can't lose' trades* (see below). dear baseball gods, if your listening, please make sure the following players will still be in mariners jerseys next season: king felix, ichiro,
my man beltre, rauuuul, yuni and b. morrow,....oh yeh, adam jones and george sherrill too--*OH WAIT, thats right adam and george are in baltimore. man didnt we get some stud pitcher in return for them? who called it walter? who called it... before the trade was even made i said to the baseball gods, pleeeeease no. so like pedro cerrano says to jobu, "i say screw you baseball gods" (that was the TBS voice dubbed PG-13 version). and one more thing... pleeeeeeese bring griffey back, thats all i really want.

2-future addition to the family:
i finally sent in the desposit for bellas future buddy today. yup, come march if everything goes well there will be another boy in bellas life. im excited, bellas excited, your mom is excited. i cant wait.

3-photobooth comes through again!:
while on the subject of mans best friend, i was bored the other nite an
d mite have had a few drinks in me, but i had some fun with photobooth (the greatest program ever) all at bellas expense....4- hold strong, only 9 days left!:
with the cold weather coming in, late nights on the old CPU get harder and harder to do. i have to stop every 100 words and breathe hot air into my hands to keep them from freezing up. the current house temp dwindles in the mid-50's throughout the day. we as a house have made a pact not to turn the heat on until the 1st of the month. were broke and bills in the winter suck. im honestly su
prised the girls have made it this far, im proud of them.

5-this and that:
other small things, bought a pair of cowboy boots this week, think what you will, they are no sb dunks thats for sure, but still pretty damn cool in their own right..... after much delay i finally got the new atmosphere cd, "when life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold", another great album by one of my favs...... i continue to be amazed at the demand for gatorade's TIGER Quiet Storm. its amazing, i must not be the only one obsessed with the purple stuff. walt has called me while at the store complaing how the purple has been the only tiger out of stock on numerous occasions. just yesterday while at albertsons i noticed there were only 4 quiet storms left in the entire gatorade family area and they were all crushed and dented, on the verge of exploding. OK, you KNOW its a hot item when theyre selling the overly damaged products at normal price. if you havent tried it, shit your missing out.
Quiz Endorsement of the Day:
Quaker Honey Graham Oh's. Sammy again gets the credit for this one... how i made it my entire childhood life without having the deliciousness of a single 'Oh' in my mouth i do not know. great with milk or straight outta the box. and the best thing, i had two huge bowls today, and in neither of them did a single 'Oh' get soggy. these 'Oh's' are like immune to the soggy powers milk has on other mortal cereals. and all for $1.99, glorious i tell you.

WE'RE GOING LIVE BABY!!!!-- (not)

So for the second time, im going two times in the same month! and guess what?!?! im trying a LIVE UPDATE VERSION for the first time. thats right people, quiz is straight up inventing super-dope new fresh ways to blog.

***UPDATE! this entry was so NOT fresh and so bogus, it has since been removed by the blog moderators.
the only thing worthy of staying on is of course, the endorsement of the day. we will see you in the future, standard blog style only from now on, i promise.
-quiz

Quiz Endorsement of the Day:
the Salted Nut Roll. so i was munchin on some of sammys yogurt covered pretzels (a very close runner-up for the endorsement of the day) and was strangely reminded of one of the best candy bars of all time. i used to always buy one whenever i went to ace hardware, and still do today for that matter. I think the Nut Roll is the official candy bar of all hardware stores. theyre always in these giant cardboard display bins at the front of the store for like 2 for a buck or some crazy ish like that.

Obviously 4th Month, 4th Post. this is weird.

so this is starting to become a regular thing (by regular i mean monthly). so whats new? well the cold weather has finally made its presence become known again, and i love it. duck hunting season opened up last saturday, me and a few boys went up for the wet and wild exhibition. not the greatest day of hunting, but nonetheless a bad day of hunting beats the shit out of a great day at work. this saturday marks the first day of mine and bella's favorite bird season, pheasant! i plan on going up on friday nite getting drunk at the 44 Bar & Cafe then making it to one of my favorite spots where i will camp out in my car with bella. it should be a blast.
in other worldly news--or sports to be exact, the white sox blew it for griffey. my hawks got killed by the giants 44-6. and seattle's own sue bird came up short to candace parker for the 2008 wnba mvp, HORSE SHIT. anyways... thats all i got time for today, i gotta get ready for work, so quickly here is the.....
Quiz Endosement of the Day:
My new team, the Portland Trailblazers.
With the Sonics no more, i have turned my loyalty to p-town. B. Roy and the boys are gonna kill it this year, so much youth and potential, i was sittin at the i-ho last night and had no idea the nba preseason had begun already and see my man big greg oden just killing it. made spencer hawes look like a 12 year-old trying to guard shaq. shouldve stayed with the purple and GOLD a couple more years spenny. anyways, im excited to watch the boys of p-town do their thing this season. PEACE.
